Nearly 70 years ago our Estate Finca, La Pila was established. Generations past engaged in farming coffee in the town of Apaneca and the surrounding territory. Today our family continues the legacy by bringing small batch, artisan coffee from our land to your kitchen.

Optimista Coffee, planted historically with the Bourbon varietal and more recently with Pacamara. The fertile, volcanic earth of the area is prime growing terroir that brings about prime coffee. 

Planted 4,300 feet above sea level in the small country of El Salvador on La Ruta de Flores in the town of Apaneca. La Pila Finca grows some of the finest coffee in the region.

Coffee plays an important role in this land and we are honored to bring a piece of history to you.
